A Little Bit About Me

Meet Mouse, a plus-sized gentleman with fur as white as new fallen snow. He lived happily with his family for many years until the arrival of active young children and two kittens disturbed his tranquility. Mouse was unable to make the adjustment to all these changes. A quiet home with adults of any age or, perhaps, a family with polite older children who will treat him with respect would be a better match for this curious, confident, and visually challenged cat.

In a foster home we discovered that he LOVES to be brushed, he's very sweet and was able to maneuver around the room even with just being able to see shadows. With his limited vision, make sure not to move things around especially his bowls, bedding and litter box. He would prefer to be the only feline in your home and probably the sole object of your attention and affection.

Mouse has lived his entire life exclusively indoors and must continue to do so as he appears to be visually impaired and will not be able to avoid the many dangers lurking outside-a good reason to keep him safely indoors and out of harm's way. In addition, his white face and ears as well as his cute pink nose put him at risk for skin cancer from the sun's harmful rays. Happily, Mouse's idea of a perfect day would include snuggling up to a friendly human, warming a cozy lap, and being the "purrfect" companion while you read or watch TV.

Sit down and spend some time getting to know this social charmer. Mouse is not a bit "mousie" about sharing affectionate head bumps and purrs.
